二, What is UL?
UL is the shorthand of Underwriter Laboratories Inc. that is not only the best authoritative but also the biggest non-government organization engaged in safety tests and appraisals in the world. It is a independent, non-government and professional organization that conduct experiments for public safety.
UL uses scientific testing methods to study and determine a variety of materials, devices, products, equipment, construction and other life, property without harm and harm degree. To determine, compile and publish relevant standards and materials to reduce and prevent loss of life and property, and to carry out factual research. In short, it is mainly engaged in product safety certification and operating safety certification business, its ultimate purpose is to get a fairly safe level of goods for the market, for personal health and property safety!
